A bit about me…
Every project is defined by a new set of criteria, and I love that. The style of the home, the sensibility and expectations of the client, and of course the surroundings. The seasonal pictures. What will the garden look like in the fall?
I am an independent landscape designer and artist with a deep connection to the Central Coast. I love the natural beauty of our area and the many diverse micro climates contained within it.
As a constant observer of nature, I’m well aware of our changing, climes and water challenges. I am adept at California natives and other drought resistant species, suitable for the mini micro climates of the Monterey peninsula. An avid gardener I gratefully experience watching a garden evolve over time, a living art project constantly flourishing, unfolding.
My driving passion in creating gardens is to create beauty that inspire joy. The height of the flower that attracts the hummingbird matters greatly from an inside point of view. The wind, the way, the light falls, the color of the flowers. It all matters. I approach every project like I would be looking at it every day.
